1. Soak Up the Sun at Pescara Beach

Pescara Beach Sunbeds

Let’s begin where many end up: Pescara’s shoreline. Actually, it’s probably better described as several shorelines because Pescara sports so very many kilometers of sandy paradise just perfect for relaxing. Of course, sunbathing is incredibly popular here, because you could grab a spot, throw down a towel, and just absorb the warm Italian sunlight. Yet there’s much more to do here than simply catching rays; many places provide sunbeds and umbrellas, and you can find various beach bars serving cold drinks and tasty snacks all around this central coastal area. It’s almost too easy to spend an entire day right on the beach.

And as it turns out, if you are the energetic type, Pescara’s main beaches have tons of opportunities to play beach volleyball, paddle-boat, or even try out some windsurfing. Many spots allow you to rent paddle boards so, too, and you might be able to tool around in the water without even disturbing the peace. Plus, as the afternoon begins winding down, you can then get set to stroll along the shore and gaze at the lovely Adriatic sunset. Is that romantic or what? Very many of Pescara’s beaches have smooth, accessible walkways, making them perfect for anyone, that is, including families or those that happen to have limited mobility.
