Okay, so, no trip to Pisco Elqui would, arguably, really be complete without hitting up at least one pisco distillery. Pisco, as I am sure you probably know, truly is Chile’s beloved spirit, right? Plus, these tours do, usually, actually let you have a little look into how the drink is made, and yep, sample a drop or two. Anyway, one spot worth checking out could be the Pisco Mistral Distillery, sort of like the kind that not only offers tours showing off how they make their pisco but too it’s almost that it fills you in on the background of the place. Seriously, for something a bit more on the artisanal side, so, try the smaller distilleries dotted around the valley. That way, you get something like a closer experience with the people making the pisco, so to speak. Loads of these places often are family-run spots that’ve stuck with the classic ways for ages, you know? As I was saying, you will learn plenty, yet also get the chance to snap up some special bottles straight from where they’re made, arguably, a souvenir that actually tells a bit of a story. 4. Elqui Valley Scenic Bike Tours

Okay, how about something on two wheels for exploring the valley? Renting a bike is arguably a fabulous thing to do. In several towns you’ll find rental shops offering bikes well-suited to cruising around here, very. That makes checking out vineyards, that is the fact, looking at the local towns and everything in between a breeze. So, if you are properly active, you could want one of those longer routes leading from Pisco Elqui passing through villages like Alcohuaz.
