Back when I was a little one, so too it’s almost ten years old, I vividly remember one of my first trips there to look at ancient pottery, actually, yet, just that exposure sort of opened up my eyes to a lot more than I had previously known existed, you see? It sounds very cliché, maybe, but that’s actually very much what it did.

Okay, so now, shifting gears a little, we are headed to Powell’s City of Books, this is a legendary spot for book lovers. Still, while it’s obviously not an art gallery or whatever, Powell’s absolutely plays a vital part in Portland’s overall literary and cultural feel, okay?

You will get literally lost in its seemingly infinite aisles of new and used books, which is, honestly, kind of fun to do! Anyway, it’s a place where I could basically lose like, an entire afternoon, which is exactly what I like to do.

Furthermore, in the Rose Room you will come across, well, all sorts of literary treasure, is that right? They even host book readings, in some respects , which gives you an opportunity to meet some neat authors and get in on conversations about new books, but I’m getting ahead of myself here. So, very do yourself a favor and carve out at least some portion of a day in your plans and dedicate it to strolling through this Portland monument, alright?

Now, the Oregon Zoo really is more than just, like, a place to view some cool animals; it’s also very committed to conservation and artwork, in that case.
