San Juan de Chuccho Day Trips: Top 5 You’ll Love
Alright, so you’re looking at maybe going to San Juan de Chuccho, and are probably thinking about checking out what’s close by, right? Very well, it’s a really neat spot, snuggled in a really outstanding section of Peru that many people think is pretty great for day trips. I’ve got a small list for you, almost of some genuinely excellent spots, each offering something a little bit unique and pretty interesting. Let’s explore, shall we?
1. The Mighty Colca Canyon
That famous Colca Canyon, that’s generally a pretty good option, as you might know. It’s, like your Grand Canyon, except maybe with, arguably a good touch more Peruvian flair. Actually, what’s super impressive about the canyon is how supremely deep it is; walking along the rim, and seeing the cliffs is more or less awesome, I’d say. I have seen some mighty sights, and the Canyon definitely makes my top 10. Early mornings really are the most notable time to come; I found it almost super worth it to catch sight of maybe those really glorious condors gracefully cruising above. They put on a tremendous show. Now, remember it may well be a longer trip, so I find it better to prepare yourself for one early and full day!

2. Oasis of Huayna Picchu
Huayna Picchu is definitely another goodie for you, seemingly presenting something totally diverse. That natural oasis actually stands pretty vividly next to that pretty arid desert habitat, a striking display that I actually thought was amazing. Seriously, picture it: the beautiful clear waters, some rather big, lush trees, maybe right there, nestled near sand ridges that go way beyond. If you seem to want, like your peaceful spot for, let’s just say, some downtime that’s absolutely superb; in any event, a person could almost walk the small, sandy paths. I found it basically therapeutic for the soul.

3. The Lovely Cotahuasi Canyon
Consider, actually, that Cotahuasi Canyon; now, quite a few folks mightn’t notice this. Although often not well known, it actually really stands out among some others; just so you know, that thing is so extremely deep. Hikers who, you know, do walking are going to treasure this greatly, for some beautiful landscapes and quite difficult trails, but I still would love them to remain there for longer. It offers, generally, a quite more private encounter rather than the actually considerably more famed Colca Canyon, and frankly has a distinctive peaceful charm. That scenery looks magnificent.

4. Toro Muerto Petroglyphs
Want history? OK then! Travel almost to that extremely huge Toro Muerto Petroglyphs that seems like one ginormous rock art gallery is great. What really gets me thinking about some ancient civilizations is just the scope of these drawings. We’re nearly speaking of many, many rocks engraved with a variety of patterns –humans, wildlife, plus bizarre geometric shapes, actually all portraying some bygone cultures stories. This attraction should make for a fairly neat change when you’re mostly in landscapes and things such as these, so consider it.

5. Quaint Andagua Valley (Volcano Valley)
Last, that really wonderful Andagua Valley, sometimes people even call it ‘The Valley of Volcanoes’. Can you very well guess the explanation? Really, small volcanoes cover most of the whole countryside; and arguably there are magnificent and peculiar panoramic vistas, I’ll say. I was walking out here and the thing I found rather awesome, generally, was, actually, how isolated it sensed – quite off-the-beaten-track, in a way. The lava regions present some exceptional shot selections to snap, or generally hike; this should be great as the day trip when searching for something rather beyond some standard attractions.
