Okay, so this might be a bit of an odd name, right? Cueva de los Aviones, that almost sounds like some kind of James Bond hideout, but no! It is actually a cool natural spot just outside San Vicente. It has huge caves, crazy cool rock shapes and really good views that just go on forever over the surrounding mountains. It will possibly be an adventure just getting there on the roads, then add some walking, so yeah it is not a sit-down-and-watch tour at all. Be prepared to be out and about, like your actual, adventurous explorer! 3. Cascadas de Juan Curí Adventure

Like waterfalls, you will enjoy this one, then. These stunning cascades are definitely well outside of San Vicente, but, hey, isn’t getting there half the point, almost? Plus a nice drive means you will see a lot of countryside. The highlight could actually be Juan Curí itself where you can swim in these natural pools. And, just so you are aware, there is a super popular rope swing for the daredevils in your group. It will take you into some of the cutest, most quaint, little towns Santander has to offer, in other words proper classic Colombian pueblos. You will see Barichara, which is actually considered one of the prettiest towns in Colombia, and Guane, known almost too its history and neat little main square, too.
