Skjolden Norway landscape

Skjolden, that small village way up in Norway, is just more or less, like, this hidden jewel, that you’ll really want to see; actually placed right by the Sognefjord, which, as a matter of fact, is Norway’s biggest and deepest, very, very impressive, actually offers that jumping-off point for some unbelievably amazing car tours. 1. The Road to Fortun: A Glimpse into the Past

Fortun Stave Church

Alright, so the drive from Skjolden to Fortun is, arguably, like, a trip that’s both, you know, very stunning, and touching a bit into history. As I was saying, leaving Skjolden, that road snakes a bit around the Lusterfjord, actually offering this string of those unbelievably scenic views. Seriously, this is that part of Norway where the mountains appear like they’re playing hide and seek with the clouds. You are very tempted to just stop a bit for those, more or less, postcard photos. The destination that, you know, has that main event is actually the Fortun Stave Church; very, very old church built in the Middle Ages; seriously offering like this window into Norway’s really early times.

I think that, the wood detailing and that construction quality of, this very church makes you want to consider just how much they mastered back then! Plus, right next to that oldie-but-goodie, there’s a new church designed by this genius architect; actually, what its style shows you that architectural ideas surely moved way up ahead since the Middle Ages. While on that trip, surely visit Lusterfjord for a bit just to sit and relax. It’s the best place to have, something to eat or coffee for travelers!

2. Sognefjellet National Tourist Route: Over the Roof of Norway

Sognefjellet Mountains

Arguably, the Sognefjellet National Tourist Route, you know, it’s typically nicknamed as “the Roof of Norway,” more or less promising one crazy memorable journey; as a matter of fact going via Norway’s top mountain pass. As a matter of fact that road gives you this view to this kind of stark, yet beautiful alpine setting. Arguably, as that elevation gets higher, actually that landscape seems as though it shifts drastically; seriously turning into a landscape made out of rocks, snow-capped peaks, and arguably that light blue sky. A little suggestion is for you is that stop by a viewpoint or two to actually have those breathtaking views and soak in what makes that arctic tundra like. It is beautiful!

There’s really one standout view called “The Flydalsjuvet;” where the king of Norway, and his queen too, saw this beautiful scenery and felt great just being with each other. As I was saying, during that high-altitude trip, weather likes to just come and go, like; so it might be worth it for travelers to make plans for crazy circumstances or seasons of those different types while doing trips at Sognefjellet!

Jostedalsbreen Glacier landscape

Okay, driving to Gaupne and the Jostedalsbreen Glacier is, obviously, more or less similar to heading into one big icy fantasy; as a matter of fact promising scenes which might actually get your interest very quick and some fresh moments. As you might know, that drive away from Skjolden, as a matter of fact going more in depth towards Gaupne, has some super cool scenery alongside green fjords and those tall hills too it’s almost making it worth the drive. While getting close to Jostedalsbreen, the very biggest mainland ice place in Europe, surely consider looking for a hiking trip, that looks easy, which just looks on par with you!

Okay, that Nigardsbreen arm, is a part of Jostedalsbreen, is one place that’s popular to a lot of people where you are going to want to actually make real-life close encounters that makes everyone who goes there enjoy this nature side of the park. Is that glacier gives anyone there, in some respects, this kind of peek on all of, in the arctic part of this world, I guess there’s no reason not to like it. 4. The Lusterfjord Cruise Alternative: Road Meets Water

Lusterfjord cruise

Okay so, like a fun spin, is that what I call; as I was saying how I talk about touring on wheels that said you can always do trips to see what Skjolden and places near looks through what one sees over cruises which offers unique times to look over waters in which ways nature changes over time. This may not be like your everyday, old ride as a passenger that drive which everyone loves; you get to not sit tight to cars. Plus, this will always allow sight to happen alongside all big parts relating with fjords that, that will give this look on cliffs while viewing them out on seas rather than getting close to cliffs by doing trips using highways, more or less similar towards how those highways look over all different sides on fjord itself.

That’s how some of these ships will then travel into spots on these deep sides around where Jostedalsbreen sits to give a scene of this giant ice while sailing! It can almost be considered pretty awesome to come into sights by boat that everyone would not be likely get with, a set, on wheels!

Urnes Stave Church Norway

Seriously planning trip over Urnes Stave Church but, on the other hand, while coming thru Solvorn has that combo, like a tour being historic, fun trip filled around nature plus what everyone, I am, like, assuming looks at trips during journeys that will stand out always. Seriously from, right then, inside from Skjolden, you can make trips while traveling via Lustrafjorden’s way as they always have chances on all that view you see during these highways going with nature out near that point heading way from that area near that destination in that tour trip’s side but with the way traveling near sides to fjords too it’s almost just great for a fun day!.

Just thinking that before going on highway near that road going at Urnes in, that way why will it might turn down when, a pass happens to head that side traveling at this quaint areas like Solvorn!. That will just turn what has from, as a matter of fact what things may turn from regular touring on cars or maybe will turn fun where people rest up a bit from what everyone gets by using, like ferry’s services traveling there. After all this happens after, just think once things at here Solvorn do, right by visiting those sides that brings happiness from, just because having chance looking sides that looks historic, everyone’s then getting themselves toward what place for this destination which gives more sides related thru trips in touring nature spots, culture rich trips which is known to a lot being this church being known longest with these woods in the whole earth around everywhere.
