By the way, head about 10 miles north of St. George to Snow Canyon State Park, because what you’re gonna see there, is a completely breathtaking mix of sandstone cliffs, ancient lava flows, and those sand dunes that make you, like your dreams. Apparently, a lot of people forget to visit the Petrified Dunes Trail to see sand turned into solid, you know, rock. That really brings some unusual colors and shapes, is it not? As I was saying, escape the desert heat, almost, it really sounds just great by spending the day on pretty, in some respects Gunlock Reservoir. This state park is, like, located only 20 minutes from St. George, you realize? At the end of the day, it provides that fantastic combination of really sparkling blue water and vivid red rock cliffs, because who can say “no” to that, at the end of the day?

Arguably, this is some real heaven for people interested in, like, boating, paddleboarding, or actually swimming. Of course. Is that just, like, not appealing? Honestly, you should take some time and also hike down the scenic overflow, but check water-release levels for safety reasons, by the way. 4. Pioneer Park: St. George’s Backyard Playground

At the end of the day, you should also look at something kind of offbeat. Check out Pioneer Park just nestled right into St. George and which tends to be that amazing, yet quirky landscape made with sandstone cliffs plus interesting rock formations which may, you know, satisfy any spontaneous day trips when you just like to roam. I am of the opinion that you want to try to hike and enjoy 360-degree, somewhat amazing views. I am really a fan! Of course you are just looking for that different Instagram moment as well! Oh, so you hike to the summit and you pose between those rocks and things… It really gives a flavor from St. George, literally, what I would want from St. George at all moments, in my honest opinion, when my eyes meet those formations and those views… The park might just also provide places that happen to be perfect so, too a picnic.

5. Grafton Ghost Town: Step Back in Time

Basically, for an exploration of some culture and history. As a matter of fact. Consider, nearly almost visiting Grafton Ghost Town. Grafton can just also be close to Zion (very southwest of it) plus shows how people lived on some Utah frontier of the 19th century. Any fans in here? Not kidding!
