They symbolize elegance and the royalty with those super elaborate, decorated forms, obviously, right? Visiting the Faberge Museum? Basically, you get right up to, I mean, practically eyeball, right, these very famous creations. Also, usually, so, tours pair this with other city sights which makes a brilliant balance that is not overly art focused, still, of course, very culture based.

Tends to be, you visit the Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood. By the way, if you can take photographs outside (I mean, you should actually try) then that is amazing to see as is Nevsky Prospekt too, potentially, but that’s a way away. St Petersburg Canal Cruise

This could give, more or less, a really cool view from a very, very different angle: water. If that’s alright, and you don’t actually mind a little bobbing along the, kind of, watery areas that make up St Petersburg, by the way. Taking in the architecture is seriously stunning and super interesting that’s for sure. Also, very closely interlinked with a history visit to the Peter and Paul Fortress, just a little further on.

Could be here, you learn lots about this landmark’s beginning. And there’s alright a chance you see the cathedral too which has the tombs of loads of tsars of the royal side of the family, pretty awesome really! I think maybe doing this, certainly, the cruise element, usually, might be more enjoyable in warmer seasons in reality. Take an, umm, alright jumper.
