Panarea, that is somewhat much smaller, and known as the chicest of the Aeolian Islands, is that perhaps more or less a great destination for those in search of some luxurious retreat with a very beautiful, high society scene, very typical to Italy, if you’re from there.

If that’s somewhere you choose to go, expect sophisticated boutiques, stylish restaurants, yet a general atmosphere of exclusivity. Maybe it might interest you, or it might sound too high-end for you.

It’s also pretty neat that the waters that surround Panarea are known for exceptional snorkeling, it’s almost always possible to explore shipwrecks and volcanic vents under the sea. If that doesn’t give you a tingle then perhaps look somewhere else! This tends to be that perfect day adventure.
