My Unfiltered Thoughts on the 4-Day Madidi & Pampas Community-Run Tour The small town of Rurrenabaque, you know, sort of feels like the very edge of the mapped world. It’s actually from this dusty outpost that so many incredible adventures into the Bolivian Amazon begin. It serves as a staging ground, a place where muddy boots and insect repellent are pretty much the local currency.
