Art Galleries on Albert Cuypstraat

The Albert Cuypstraat is typically, usually, more famed for its, very, busy daily market. So, as a matter of fact, there are actually many small art galleries there just ready to be, like, discovered. So, just meander past the produce stalls and just kinda see if you see a little shop selling locally made artwork. I would bet that you could find all kinds of cool, original pieces at reasonable prices.

So, there’s this gallery I found hidden between a herring stand and flower vendor; still, it displayed art of up-and-coming artists. And you could, by the way, meet the artist in person, or something? The pieces ranged all over the place, alright. Some were quirky, some were abstract, still others had a kind of shock appeal! The nice people who were working were enthusiastic to talk more. The feeling of being connected and inspired that you’re sure to feel just enhances the enjoyment of this spot!
