The Bartolomé Island Excursion is amazing. Its totally amazing scenery make it very special. Its towering Pinnacle Rock is very striking and that view from the top of the wooden staircase (all 370 steps) is something to behold! Early starts are very often needed for this trip, by the way, because Bartolomé is a little farther away, fairly.

You’ll get snorkeling in, seeing colorful fish and maybe some penguins. You know, they say this is a longer day trip but well worth it for the iconic landscape. Maybe bring your underwater camera! Make sure to pack light, you might want to take it easy going up those steps! The small-group part means you get plenty of time with the guide, usually, who will point out all sorts of geology stuff, that, you know, I don’t usually notice, seemingly. The views, apparently, make it a hit.

4. South Plaza Island Day Tour Departing Baltra

Okay, then we’ve got South Plaza Island. That’s, perhaps, among the smallest islands you could visit, so it packs a huge punch! The island teems with wildlife, blue-footed boobies, land iguanas (that are yellow!), and it boasts stunning cliffs. Those are, possibly, very impressive! It seems, just a little, popular for seeing the island’s unique flora that changes color with the season.

You will spot sea lions basking along the shores. Also, the hike is, seemingly, pretty easy, even though it can be rocky. The tour guides know lots about the plants, well, and that can be pretty fascinating. The smaller size does mean you won’t spend all day traveling; more time experiencing, that is what is the matter. 5. Yacht Cruise from Baltra: Multi-Day Experience

Okay, and last, certainly not least, we arrive at the Yacht Cruises from Baltra! They are pretty different from a day trip; they immerse you fully for several days, even a week. Generally speaking, most yacht cruises take care of all meals, usually, accommodation, and also activities. What this boils down to is all you really need to do is take in the beauty, more or less.

This can be, easily, the way to go to see multiple islands, like Genovesa, Isabela, or Fernandina, without lots of back-and-forth traveling. Typically you see way more wildlife this way because, usually, you are in the heart of the islands where they all roam free. Most vessels, seemingly, have a naturalist on board, of course, which heightens the viewing and keeps the trips informative. These aren’t, generally, cheap, admittedly, yet can create memories like no other. If the budget fits, I really think this is the way to go.
