Top 5 BVI Outdoor Adventures: Your Island Guide

British Virgin Islands Outdoor Activities

The British Virgin Islands, oh, those jewels of the Caribbean! It’s like they’re calling out to people that want to drop whatever they’re doing and feel a little warmth. Known more for their stunning blue spaces and slow-paced lifestyle, there’s actually quite a bit to get your fill of, actually. I’m talking a top-tier experience that can get anyone excited about heading out into the island’s beautiful backyards.

Sailing Adventures: Charting Your Course

Sailing in the British Virgin Islands

Ah, so many come for the sailing! When you picture the British Virgin Islands, isn’t it all catamarans lazily gliding across crystal-clear waters? Sailing isn’t only a favored pastime, that is also how you hop from one island spot to the next. There’s lots on the plate. You can rent a boat (with or without a captain!) or get aboard one of the day cruises, very many get it done! Plus, is that really there’s tons of places to pick for a quick visit by sea, too. Take for example, The Baths on Virgin Gorda.

Speaking of The Baths, really, you have got to swing over there. It is like nature put all the gigantic boulders together for one unbelievable view. The waters that make a doorway up to the shore? Pretty calm. That said, you might discover there is many of spots that are protected by what surrounds it if you head in for an extended amount of sailing in and around BVI. It might mean something a bit private just for you.

Snorkeling and Diving: Beneath the Surface

Snorkeling in the British Virgin Islands

Think beyond the beach, and there is tons beneath, honestly. It’s really no surprise there’s many around who can’t wait to take a quick peek. The reefs pop with life, and really, the water might as well be a big aquarium. Whether you’re only after trying with snorkeling at the surface or someone into deeper experiences like scuba, basically you can choose how far down you want to be.

You know what, something I recall someone telling me is a must see: The Wreck of the Rhone. People really go there just to peep what once was. It sank around 1867 and is now this playground where fish get to play. People call it one the planet’s best places to do any type of swimming at. Something you probably want to make note of. And yet, what’s that all about those colored fishes, right? Very, many hang loose in spots like the Indians and Coral Gardens.

Think of The Indians more as a series of sharp rock points sticking from the waters that become a dwelling place. You’ll find what that looks like close up: tons of coral. If you swing on over to Norman Island’s, you might just see for yourself there’s something to look at.

Mount Sage National Park that is located on Tortola. A spot many mention. It’s a trip that’s high enough for you get that awesome view from atop. Not all of it that tough either, so that may sway you to go! Did you know Anegada has spots for walks that give something so special? Take your views down through what’s there as a view.

Beach Hopping: Sun, Sand, and Serenity

Beaches in the British Virgin Islands

Really, how are we to visit a chain made up island scenes like BVI and neglect their shores? Doesn’t look like any might fail when it involves its sand strips. Shores here each own a taste like you may never realize.

Think like White Bay on Jost Van Dyke if you enjoy that whole beach vibe. What do I mean when I say “vibe,” what that could be more like what is at its surface if I need to be upfront? Bars can pour things, those sands could call people, just those scenes you dream about getting to go see one day! Someone in the know tipped me off with something that seemed really genuine. Trunk Bay is just an ocean with no one nearby if someone wishes to get far far, right. With its still atmosphere and white sand, its like one hidden location. I cannot stop saying it feels genuine!

If someone has their thoughts set somewhere wilder. Then it has always came to me that Savannah Bay on Virgin Gorda stands separate when you consider those very long strips of beach and waves.
