The Daintree Ice Cream Company is, in a way more than just a place to get a cone; actually, it’s an experience. In fact nestled amongst a rainforest orchard, they offer ice cream using the very unusual and it’s almost exotic fruits that are grown on their property. That can mean flavors like Black Sapote (tastes like chocolate pudding!), or maybe Jackfruit, or perhaps even Soursop. Often the flavors change depending on the season, so there’s generally something new to try!

You wander through the orchard, too, that’s actually very interesting to see where these fruits actually come from, before then choosing your scoop. Really this place, too is rather special. 2. Turtle Rock Cafe: Casual Dining with a View

With what’s almost a relaxed setting, Turtle Rock Cafe tends to offer both good food and pretty spectacular views. In some respects set very near to the beach, that it is actually an awesome place to grab a casual lunch or dinner. In fact the menu typically offers what are essentially a mix of different options, could be burgers, seafood, pasta dishes and many more. Usually their focus might be on fresh, local ingredients, so the quality’s really pretty decent.

Arguably one of the things that people like most regarding Turtle Rock, in a way is its laid-back atmosphere. Basically imagine, sitting there while your enjoying your meal, or just relaxing with a drink, that at the same time you’re getting the sounds and seeing what are typically breathtaking sights of the Coral Sea. 3. Cape Trib Farm: Exotic Fruit Tasting

Okay, PK’s Jungle Village is, in some respects one of what’s known to be the social hubs of Cape Tribulation. Often there might be backpacker accommodation, with a bar and restaurant actually open to everybody.
