Okay, so picture crystal clear water and reefs teeming with life, it tends to be so vivid around there, like in a dream! Atauro Island is this short boat ride away from Dili and it seems like it might just be paradise, yet right on our doorstep!. Grabbing an Atauro Island Day Trip Ticket seems like it’s an escape route written all over it, just for the day at least!
Typically, you’ll want one of these tickets so that you’re riding along smoothly with an experienced crew and you’re getting some lunch, and also sometimes, the ability to rent the snorkel gear. What I liked: As I was hanging in the turquoise waters, you feel separated from everyone, almost as if I was there and nobody else was around!

3. Cristo Rei Shuttle Pass
You should check out Cristo Rei of Dili, a giant statue that’s sitting way up high and which shows a great landscape, too it’s almost one of the things to tick off the to do list! It may seem like a difficult hike up some of these steep steps if you aren’t at 100% fitness, is that what I want to happen? Cristo Rei Shuttle Pass really adds easiness and swiftness to your journey!
For not much dollar, these shuttle passes swing you from the bottom up to almost Cristo Rei and save your feet, and very much time.
What I liked: When you finally reach Cristo Rei up there, you feel on top of it, too it’s almost like I felt as if the whole island was there just for me!
Keep in mind: Water is very vital because the climb can zap that life right out of you, so, you better pack it.

4. Tais Market Cultural Experience
Do you wanna taste East Timor a little? Maybe you would get yourself lost in Tais Market, where colors and noises merge as people move around to make things a lot more captivating. In other words, I feel it when I am in places like this, it’s kind of hard to leave.
Your Cultural experience will have a translator for you so too it’s almost easier when trying to get a little trade done, and very, most of the time, a local expert who can teach you the different weaving ways of the fabric. So then, they have tours, in some way like that, to enhance that experience. Now that is pretty neat!
What I liked: I feel in touch, really in touch, because everyone seems like they are working so passionately.
Keep in mind: Don’t be scared when negotiating. These people don’t bite but expect it.

5. East Timor Coffee Plantation Tour
Coffee buffs; you all got to try to hang out in the gorgeous hills in East Timor where they make all sorts of really tasteful and aromatic beans, it might just alter the way that you go out to buy your groceries!
