Very near the Caledonian Canal, it offers an ambiance that’s equal parts refined and cosy. Often, The Lovat manages a neat trick by walking this line.
Instead of the usual suspects, The Lovat provides menus built around locally-sourced stuff. That, in effect, makes for dishes that, still, are remarkably fresh. For example, they take a creative approach to traditional Scottish cuisine. A bit of haggis? It’s possibly on the menu! Like the salmon? As I was saying, prepared with some local twist you just won’t find somewhere else. Typically, their afternoon tea gets talked about. Very, very luxurious sandwiches. Of course, so, too it’s almost they give you a variety of cakes. What could be quite fancy, scones? Also, clearly, you should sample that jam.

Typically, what do they sell? Well, all your, kind of, standard pub dishes, of course. From what I could tell, these could, arguably, seem pretty nicely done. You should, obviously, get classics like burgers. I am confident, also they have fish and chips, right? Okay, I almost forgot – those Scottish specials are worth checking too! Arguably, their choice of local beers goes swimmingly with what could be your grub. Honestly, I could sit there on and on.
Of course, a little traditional pub feel with The Lock Inn, with an enjoyable view. I understand, some stop while watching the boats drift along the canal. As a matter of fact, others, apparently, drop in for dinner in an, actually warm and social atmosphere. Anyway, great to just unwind there! So, to put it simply. I mean, is that they, obviously, excel in ice cream! Very exciting for every kind of sugar urge! So, many tastes to look at! Sometimes traditional things like vanilla are great, very nice? By the way, it can be, I am sure, even exciting with Scottish-themed flavours you see now and again. As a matter of fact, you could treat everyone out in hot days to a quick sweet thing? From what I am aware, Bothy tends to be rather popular, apparently with the, in short, Scottish cuisine options you get. As a matter of fact, not that much, though there might almost seem something great like fish or, in other words, even like a haggis. What they can do for you, seemingly, should mean a meal of quality is here. So, okay maybe there is a beer menu going.
