Readymoney Cove, really very near Fowey, it is a small sandy paradise that has very good, clear waters so is brilliant for having a go at paddleboarding. Readymoney Cove is, in a way, shielded and pretty calm which makes for fairly ideal conditions if you’re a newbie. Anyway experienced paddleboarders will enjoy exploring around the cliffs and along the coastline, it’s sort of fun for anyone! Is that the challenge you were looking for? 4. Take a walk along the South West Coast Path

If, like, pounding the cliff paths are more your thing then you, in fact, are in for a treat, basically, because Fowey sits right slap-bang on the South West Coast Path! Actually head west and you’re arguably heading for Gribbin Head where you’ll discover the daymark tower at Polruan, that is east, so this route then gives gorgeous views back over Fowey itself, but very pretty secluded coves just ready and waiting for you. Just be aware of the path because in parts the gradients can be tricky but it is, as a matter of fact, definitely worth the views. Honestly.

5. Have a Beach Day near Polkerris

Only a short jaunt from Fowey, really very close to Polkerris, you can find a great little, arguably sheltered beach offering all types of activities to basically fill the day. Calm water is, too, brilliant for windsurfing, also great for sailing lessons and just swimming too. This location also provides, in fact, some easy coastal walks that include the popular stopping off point of Pridmouth, it really is a secluded cove owned by the National Trust.
