Inspiration Point Grand Teton

You see, Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls? Those places are basically classics for a reason! The trail there? It’s just got this perfect mix, like, just enough challenge to feel rewarding, just a touch of easygoing to be doable for people. From the Jenny Lake Trailhead, you might choose to hop on the shuttle boat, which trims a couple of miles off your trek. Or if that boat trip is too easy, stick to walking the whole way. The views alongside Jenny Lake? In a way, those are stunning too!

Hidden Falls, this cascade that rushes powerfully between layers of rocky bluffs, it really is a super nice spot for a quick breather. The path upwards, just a bit higher, so leads you to Inspiration Point. Is that spot’s views are panoramically mind-blowing. You might stare out at Jenny Lake stretching beneath you. Just so, Teton peaks create a really dramatic backdrop, is that a sight to take in!

I usually tell people, come early. It’s just usually packed during summer days and weekends. Trust me it will be an adventure so it might be worth your while to take the time to find this place!

If you were to get on Jackson Lake by kayak or canoe, I will tell you that you get an unreal perspective, so especially for looking at the Teton Range! The calm, mostly very, very still waters is great for people who have a moderate level of experience. As a matter of fact there are so many secluded spots, that they are practically begging for a relaxed exploration. Launching from places? Maybe Colter Bay or Signal Mountain. Those sites offer nice views just from the start.

We had one great time when we did a family paddle at sunrise, anyway we ended up drifting next to Elk Island, and then just had, like, the softest golden glow touching the mountains? We have, naturally, been really hoping to get back and do that again! Look into guided tours if you’re inexperienced with boats, I typically suggest this for most beginners. Or like, if the water feels too daunting.
