La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, often shortened to just La Cruz, is that hidden jewel of the Riviera Nayarit. This little town has just grown in that last few years, you know, yet it’s kept all of its genuine Mexican charm. It’s maybe most famous for its marina, a hub for fishing and sailing, too it’s almost attracting visitors from all over. But let me tell you, is that the food scene here, now that’s a reason to visit all on its own!

We, like your average travelers, spent a good chunk of time exploring different eating spots during a recent visit, and I’m going to share those top five favorite places, which, frankly, I’d suggest. From very cool seafood joints with those views of the boats to traditional spots dishing out family recipes, so there’s surely going to be something that you’ll enjoy. 1. El Original Mariscos La Cruz: Seafood with a View

Right at that top of our list is El Original Mariscos La Cruz, you know, this place is loved by everyone, like both tourists and locals alike. And honestly, I can understand why, you know? Positioned near that marina, El Original Mariscos gives you tasty seafood plus views that are worth lots of money. Can’t beat that fresh sea breeze and bobbing boats while you munch, right?

We found that the menu is pretty extensive, which could be, spotlighting the very best of Pacific seafood. Those shrimp tacos are a total must-try – like they just tasted like they were plucked from the sea that morning. Then, too it’s almost if you’re in a sharing mood, try out that seafood platter. It’s really stacked high with grilled octopus, fish fillets, shrimp, too it’s almost perfect for groups.

Their cocktails? Top-notch! Their margaritas seem pretty classic, which would be perfect on a sunny afternoon. Basically, the service is usually on point, very attentive even when the restaurant seems fairly crowded. Do get there kind of early or maybe make a reservation. 2. Masala Bar & Grill: A Fusion Delight

Now, if you want something different, a bit that steps away from classic Mexican fare, think of heading over to Masala Bar & Grill. They’ve been calling that stuff a fusion joint, very much blending traditional Indian spices with, you know, those local Mexican ingredients. Believe me; that sounds like a bold thing that gives satisfying results!

We happened to find that they have that extensive selection that goes on all of their dinner menus, you know. Everything seems really artfully plated with attention to flavor and looks. Maybe try those butter chicken tacos – believe me; they don’t just sound special, but that is also something unique. Do the very savory spices complement that juicy chicken and then topped with cool crema and fresh cilantro.

And, they offer this one great spot where that atmosphere seems pretty relaxing and comfortable. It seems pretty ideal for a chill night out with some of the closest friends or very like one romantic date night. Then you want a little advice from me, which might be just my take. The drink menu doesn’t just disappoint! They are very artfully creating innovative cocktails that highlight all of those unique spice profiles. So, basically, very unexpected combination here really leaves an awesome mark!

3. Ana Banana Bar & Grill: Beachfront Bliss

I like to share about places on the coast of the ocean; do you want to spend those toes in that sand kind of experience, right? Let me talk about Ana Banana Bar & Grill. It’s like having dinner just inches from the waves with pretty great food plus great drinks.

During the afternoons we might grab this little beach spot and might share. The menu does pretty reliably, with all of those fresh salads, that you almost will be sharing all of those appetizers, and many plates which do satisfy even my bigger appetite! One can’t miss all of those shrimp burgers that seem so good after a sun afternoon afternoon – they are kind of the fresh flavor with all those different seasonings they may add, not forgetting to talk about the tasty homemade buns here. With that view here, I want to remind you, even this very standard meal will have great tastes plus satisfaction.

Looking for that change with those things like fish tacos? Take it from here and then go get ready to grab those forks when entering this very cool Germany restaurant from La Cruz, called that Black Forest Restaurant.

At that point while we did eat in those interiors, this might have appeared to just me plus family, like at home; their menu doesn’t stay back!
