Okay, first stop, El Mina Restaurant. This place, as I was saying, is practically an institution. That’s right. Positioned right on the marina, that means, naturally, views here are totally stellar. Though, seriously, the real star here is what, pretty much, swims onto your plate fresh from the Red Sea.

Basically, picture this: you, right, are settling into a comfy seat as the sun’s doing this really awesome dance across the water. Next, very soon, the smell of grilling fish is hanging in the air. It, arguably, could be overwhelming. Definitely order the grilled calamari. Then, very nearly, this comes tender, smoky, and drizzled with lemon. Actually, it makes me wish I was there now! For something truly Egyptian, anyway, go for the Sayadeya—that’s a super tasty fish stew with rice, as a matter of fact, seasoned with spices that make your tastebuds sing.

El Mina, honestly, isn’t fancy. Really. That is why, so, it’s the sort of place where you, kind of, see local fishermen swapping stories right next to tourists. 2. Gad: A Taste of Egyptian Street Food

Like your tummy is rumbling for some real-deal Egyptian street food? Alright. Gad is where it’s at. So, that’s right. A chain, perhaps, but one wildly known and favored among locals for its, you know, yummy, honest grub that will set you back next to nothing.

That said, don’t miss the falafel. By the way, they are made fresh and served hot in a pita with tahini. Yum! You know what’s so awesome? The shawarma. That’s carved right off the spit and it’s also oozing with flavor. In addition to that you, as a matter of fact, are feeling pretty brave, you really might want to attempt the koshari—Egypt’s national dish. Typically, a jumble of rice, lentils, pasta, and spiced tomato sauce, that is almost all topped with crispy fried onions, yet, pretty much, it’s an explosion of textures and flavors.

Okay, as I was saying, let’s say the sun goes down and you fancy, I mean, a place with a cool vibe and delicious drinks? Really. Sobar is really a trendy rooftop bar giving you, right, stunning views of the city and the Red Sea. That said, expect that place to have really slick décor and, so, like, music setting that, potentially, is fun and right.

While sitting down, right, sample their expansive cocktail menu. I want to say the bartenders seem to be masters at whipping up some, kind of, like innovative concoctions. If it’s up to me you will love it. You really might want to try something fruity and refreshing. Then again, it is very suitable for the warm Egyptian evenings. And, then, If cocktails don’t appeal, you can always grab an Egyptian beer or a glass of wine. That is why, of course. With great friends, of course.

Okay, Sobar is a fantastic spot, still, to start your night, possibly, or, basically, chill out following a day of scuba diving or exploring. Remember those spectacular views. Anyway, maybe you’re, in some respects, craving a little something special? Hmm? The Lodge Restaurant offers an elegant dining experience in Hurghada. Now, as a matter of fact, this is a fantastic choice. As the name means, I want to say, this, very nearly, has a design which looks to take hints from a cozy log cabin (except in sunny Egypt). Seriously!

You will very possibly be pleased by the menu, by the way, that boasts a mix of international and Egyptian dishes. Really! Each of them, like, with what feels like a sophisticated spin. Right? Then, start your meal using delicious meze, and pretty much, little plates, yet, loaded with flavor. Next, just you can savor beautifully plated mains such as steak, seafood, or even conventional Egyptian tagines.

Anyway, The Lodge provides, obviously, impeccable service. Also the elegant ambiance really does allow you to experience those delicious dishes to the max. Is that right? If you’re up for venturing a bit further away from the tourist hotspots, anyway, check out Al Jazeera Restaurant. Seriously! That, in fact, is where you’ll find what seems like really authentic Egyptian cuisine. By the way, that is, literally, frequented by locals.

The atmosphere’s really not pretentious here; instead, frankly, you’ll find warm, inviting, and quite, you know, familiar, though, to be fair, Al Jazeera is seriously famous because of the tasty food it whips up, typically, on its grill. Do you see? Picture tasty kebabs. Next, perfectly spiced kofta is prepared directly to order. Yet, for the more, sort of, adventurous eaters, don’t forget the molokhia – which appears to be this really unique, seriously green, soup constructed from jute leaves. This soup really does have such a distinct earth flavor. It does give that comforting vibe that, very nearly, only mother nature could grant!

Now, this restaurant, as a matter of fact, actually gives a totally real Egyptian experience, as a matter of fact, devoid of a lot of tourist trappings.
