These are, really, like flattened sweet plantain pancakes or better known as Tatale, typically a sweet treat or food sold mostly to youngsters nearby schools! Plantains are the superstars in them and taste ripe and fried. They’re almost like donuts but of plantain that turns so very warm with hints, usually, of pepper and ginger. They taste delicious but taste even more of being a neighborhood’s favorite.
