What a better way to seriously connect with Hawaiian culture than to learn hula, very well? Several studios and cultural centers in Kihei offer lessons for, basically, all ages and levels. This really ain’t your regular dance class, guys, so what you are learning here are movements, telling stories, expressing emotions. Alright, we find the instructors have their unique personalities.
Hula class can seriously enrich your vacation in Kihei, while stepping away from tourist traps! We can go and learn the meaning of different steps, understand the significance of the accompanying chants (oli), yeah, almost immerse yourself in the culture.
