I really encourage you, though, to join one of those tours. They provide pretty interesting stories of Vikings and of saints, too. Plus, that bit of information can seriously open the building right up, is that not true?

So, too it’s almost that St. Magnus Cathedral gives people something so much more, even than just those plain-Jane architectural wonders, by the way. Alright, how about going on back to the center of Kirkwall? Is that alright with you? You’ll surely want to go to the Orkney Museum for a seriously deeper trip on down memory lane. It takes place in that very grand Tankerness House, that once held a big time wealthy family way back in the 1500’s. A good start, basically!
