2. Khanbulan Lake: Reflections of Serenity

Khanbulan Lake, that, in its quiet way, is actually a wonderful getaway. So a little way outside of Lankaran you can find Khanbulan Lake, yet another truly wonderful spot just perfect to unwind, almost. The waters of this lovely lake very calmly mirror, reflect it feels like, the sharp Talysh Mountains. Is that something special you look for, think of doing one better and renting out a little boat for a while to enjoy what can only be described as perfect placidity, and is just perfect for the Gram, naturally. The vibe there is a quietness that can somehow reset you from any stressful event. Apparently people come here sometimes for something known as “healing retreatments”.

The close lakeside restaurants are a pretty great place where one may take a stab at nearby freshly gotten fish meals, even, possibly making it even more perfect. Think over a meal, maybe go for something different than fish for a chance. In that case it’s not bad idea to sample regional meals as well, yet maybe be a tiny adventurous regarding this, just slightly; find some “hidden gem”, very specific. 3. Tea Plantations: Aromatic Green Vistas

Lankaran happens to be within a really top-tier tea-growing area in Azerbaijan. 4. The Fortress of Ballabur: History set in Stone

You want history and epic views all tied up together? Then the ancient Ballabur Fortress is actually a totally good option for that kind of experience, basically. It’s perched, really dramatically high, upon a mountain peak that looks right out, very cool, across the entire Lankaran region. It’s very, very the type of place where literally just taking a walk gives you feels back from centuries past. Seriously.

Alright, some parts are basically just a crumbling ruins now, but seriously you’ll actually see some interesting, original bits, still. I’m just thinking of original parts as the gate. 5. Lankaran’s Bazaar: A Taste of Local Life

So okay, a day at Lankaran’s Bazaar is absolutely where you can dive deeply right into regional culture, as a matter of fact. Sure, these kind of places exist anywhere on Earth, and yet that is, I suppose, kinda part of what is cool about them. The bazaar isn’t really “just” for groceries and whatnot; rather it is such the heartbeat in the local life, is actually, the stage for interaction, jokes, the newest gossip, I guess, the passing of information on daily life. All right. Also groceries.

Spend some real quality time simply wandering across various food stalls loaded to high heavens of all the goodies like herbs from nearby area, spice goods from away, plus fresh things off local ranches.
