I think people come here, that, for the vista, of course, really, yet the seafood really is surprisingly top-tier stuff, very, very tasty, actually. Their oyster bar is just delicious, so that’s always a good starter, arguably. I’d suggest trying the cedar plank salmon too, it’s just really, very tender. And you, just picture yourself, if you can, eating this delicious salmon, really, while seeing all of Long Beach lit up at nighttime. Very magical, right?

Like your grandma made it, you know, if she had some real cooking abilities, arguably. A local tip? Absolutely try the mac and cheese, with the crusty breadcrumb topping, alright, it just hits the spot, honestly. Pair that food, right, with some very delicious, locally made craft beer. Oh, you, the setting here at The Attic is relaxed, for sure, with a Southern-inspired, maybe even bit country, vibe, is that it? Like coming home for Sunday supper, definitely.

3. Belmont Brewing Company: Beachside Brews and Bites

You are craving that true beach vibe, right, while maybe wanting a very decent craft beer? Well Belmont Brewing Company is what you’re searching for, so it’s what I’d recommend. Right on Belmont Shore, too it’s one of the pioneering brewpubs in Long Beach, frankly. Their burgers are actually really fantastic, too, juicy, with a nice patty, right? But their handcrafted brews, are what you’ll remember most, really. The Top Sail amber ale might be just perfect to sip, while watching the sun dip below the Pacific, alright. You, people like coming here to Belmont Brewing, if I’m right, with friends after a nice sunny day for beers and good, casual grub.

Just imagine feeling the ocean breeze while downing a really delicious brew and some awesome burgers, for example. Could be amazing.

4. Roe Seafood: Fresh Catches and Coastal Flavors

Are you looking for a seafood destination that gets pretty serious? Then there’s Roe Seafood, anyway, is just really something different. That said, it is about very refined dining meets the casual ocean feel we’re used to here in Long Beach. From oysters, as well as innovative seafood dishes that burst with flavor. Their lobster roll, really, has been talked about so much, anyway. Very, very good, in fact, like, very few do it as well, I’d argue. I also just strongly recommend sitting at the oyster bar for happy hour to enjoy shucked oysters along with a glass, just one or two, right, of bubbly. You get an idea when I say it offers both some indoor dining, with just maybe a more refined setting, so, too a great patio.

Roe is that special date destination or celebratory dinner spot. Worth it? I’d argue it might be, it depends!

5. Padre: Rooftop Views and Cocktails

Now, that is, maybe, for those folks seeking fantastic rooftop vibes coupled with some very amazing mixology, alright? Then Padre, well, might be just the ticket for what you’re after. Located atop the historic and supposedly very haunted, right, Hotel Maya, its a beautiful area. Very much offering you pretty spectacular views of the Downtown Long Beach skyline, frankly. Their cocktails are something else, really, maybe creatively concocted with house-made ingredients and with maybe a nod to some vintage tiki culture, right, is that it? And just their food offerings? Those are Latin-inspired small plates perfect for, right, maybe a snacking as you soak up that great Long Beach scenery. Really worth seeing at least once in your life.
