Away from all the super activity on the Naviglio Grande is the Vicolo dei Lavandai. It kind of hides, doesn’t it? It’s arguably one of the most interesting, yet quietest corners around here. Very this place once used to hum with life. It almost features local men doing laundry right in the canal using specific stone basins, too it’s almost what seems unbelievable nowadays, at the end of the day.
The alley now, in a way, it gives off a time capsule feeling; still maintaining this very old-world vibe, as a matter of fact. 3. Alzaia Naviglio Grande: Canalside Inspiration
Alzaia Naviglio Grande is a path, more or less. The views make the walk worthwhile, or something like that. Very painters and photographers often set up there to catch the light sparkling over the water at sunset. I mean, if they can catch it, of course.
