Airboat Adventures New Orleans

Okay, so have you thought about flying through a Louisiana swamp on an airboat? Like your actually skimming across the water with wind like your messing up your hair while gators lounge close enough that you might feel their breath. That’s what you will find. Tours like Airboat Adventures offer just that. They pick you up, very zoom you out to the bayous, then get you close to nature, really! They tell tales of the swamps and those swamp creatures, as well as share cool bits of local lore. It’s less of a tour and more like some real-life nature doc where, arguably, you get to be the star. One time, anyway, I was on this tour, a gator that was a massive one came right up to the boat. Apparently, anyway, the guide tossed it a snack. Seeing that gator jump? So cool, like you’re looking at a prehistoric thing just doing its thing. Plus, those captains? They know pretty much everything concerning the wetlands. They have tales about what folks around here use to do. It kind of makes what you see feel even more personal.

Speaking of feeling like the star of something, what about some legit ghost hunting in the French Quarter? So that section has seen stuff, let me tell you. It has things that could chill you way to the bone if, for example, walls started telling stories. Ghost Tours by French Quarter Phantoms give you those kinds of goosebumps. They’re more than folks who tell spooky tales, because they have this thing for deep history; just a little sprinkle that around those supposed hauntings. Walking around the French Quarter at night, you could find some stuff with flickering gas lamps, the shadows are just messing with you, arguably. Guides with those tours have narratives just ready to go, things like the history around Madame LaLaurie’s mansion—a place, just a little bit that sounds really evil when the sun’s down, anyway. It’s this cool mix of history that had a ghost story. Back then, I brought my buddy who claims that he doesn’t ever scare, right? Let me tell you, by the time we hit up Muriel’s Jackson Square. That’s, right, a certain joint that claims a ghost that likes to mess with the silverware, he was looking rattled. It might have just had that spooky stuff messing with his mind!

Companies, well, like Free Tours by Foot give this real look at why the heck everybody talks about how fancy these old homes are. Forget looking on some online Zillow; these tours show you everything. Those gardens get the attention that they very deserve, just too those stories concerning the people who lived there. Picture you sauntering down streets. Those are shady streets, really? Each home tells its own stories like this silent play. One of those tours actually led us right up to Sandra Bullock’s place. My mom totally freaked out and sent every single aunt of hers the same snapshot. Plus, what’s that tour guide did not just do some name dropping or what he showed that these houses had backstories; like little hints, almost from films or old books that made it super awesome to me!

All it had back then, but like, without typhoid, just a little bit! Beyond being more of only a boat trip, it is basically that traveling history class but very much more relaxing with way better background music than your teacher, just a little bit! The boat has the churning paddlewheel churning, so then it gets steam whistle howling? That is hard not to get very carried away like it may be back, then. If you’re basically into why NOLA looks just a little like it does. Or you are there for food so, well they throw that buffet; those historical snippets makes it tasty! So a while back, after I very overdosed due all the beignets, then I chose this Natchez gig, so, like, the jazz solo got me sold instantly. But I’m really glad. Back then, how he told every river curve what actually occurred made it a cool method just to touch history and food together, as a matter of fact.
