Thinking of going to Nyungwe National Park in Rwanda? So, it’s almost like picking what to do first in a candy store. The park, very amazing I should say, has tons to do from going on hikes where you can see almost anything to going on a canopy walk. That said, figuring out the ticket options might be a bit hard, maybe, so you know which choice works for you.

1. Chimpanzee Trekking Permit

The Chimpanzee Trekking Permit is the big attraction in Nyungwe. Like your neighborhood’s got talent show, yet with chimps. It’s basically what a bunch of people come all the way for. I mean, the experience? Seeing chimps in their natural area, you know, acting like chimps. To be precise, what you need is a permit before you even dream of doing it. Because, in some respects, this manages how many tourists bug the chimps, in a way guaranteeing some measure of conservation is carried out. This thing, well, its price can vary and it sort of depends on the season and how they feel like pricing it.

2. Canopy Walkway Ticket

Nyungwe’s Canopy Walkway Ticket? The one and only East Africa suspended one at that? To be honest, it’s great for people into something very out there. I mean, you see stuff from 50 meters high up that way. To be exact, that’s about a 16 story building. Like you, personally, have become one of the forest’s tall trees. Like your neighborhood’s tree fort, just… massive, safer, and made by actual engineers. You know, just safer!

The usual ticket costs range about $60, depending really, with tours starting a little every day; more or less, there is always another one. A heads-up for almost everyone scared of heights; it may not actually be the thing for you. As a matter of fact, everyone else? Get really ready for views! First, it’s the view you get of almost the whole forest. After that, are a lot of cool birds with monkeys.

3. Waterfall Hike Permit (Isumo or Kamiranzovu)

Very cool is a trek to one of Nyungwe’s waterfalls, to do this, it’s good to almost get the Waterfall Hike Permit, depending of course on the place to see like Isumo or Kamiranzovu. So, you know, there are those walks which are something else – more or less – ranging in distance, varying somewhat in difficulity. And guess what’s at the end… yes, waterfalls!

A permit fee is, basically, around $40. By the way, make that early booking through the RDB. As I was saying, remember those walking boots; the trail bit is a bit up and down the mountain at some points. Still, it is very worthwhile as a result of, the views look awesome at the falls. Plus it does makes you feel, you know, nature-y.

4. Bird Watching Pass

Calling out very crazy bird enthusiasts here! The Bird Watching Pass could basically be seen to be the ticket to see. That park’s where a few of the continent’s – I’m being honest, really, really crazy birds. Frankly, these places basically get booked for one tour every tour, often for just about bird watching.

The pass tends to cost about $50, that’s depending somewhat, the rate you can snag as well is like about tour guiding for about birds for almost four hours, which should do the trick, or more. Well, get some binoculars now, too it’s almost like; I’m honest with you. Don’t ignore that camera either: since you do get really colorful birdies out there, too it’s almost too much.

5. Multi-Day Hiking Pass

If walking all the time is like that really big desire. What you may really want would be that Multi-Day Hiking Pass – to do the big one like the Congo Nile Divide Trail, which has been known to take that about 3 to 5 days! Almost! Now.

This pass can start at like $100, yet varies a bit like all the things we had already been through above depending which way is going which and like a tour is done about hiking. Because this basically has those, too it’s almost, some kind of real hiking skills for a thing! Oh, that does very also get some amazing views like forests as big and those sleeping outside under something as beautiful a sight as those clear African stars.
