So, now, if you would like to combine history with a look at some present-day culture, right, a tour that combines the Vilu War Museum along with a local village visit might be just what you want. Like your Guadalcanal WWII Battlefield Tour, there is a historical side. The Vilu War Museum displays, after all, war relics, very like crashed planes, that kind of thing. But as you may have imagined, those bits of gear and metal just kind of stand there, really telling stories of the war in their very own kind of way.

And yet, you’ll also, honestly, get a village visit. What is nice about this part is how things kind of switch gears. Then, all of a sudden, you’re seeing a slice of the modern-day Solomon Islands. 4. Bonegi Beach Snorkeling Adventure

Looking to experience the Solomon Islands, really, from below the surface? So, you’ll probably love this. There is a great choice out there that is, arguably, just made for those looking to do some snorkeling: it is the Bonegi Beach Snorkeling Adventure. Now, it doesn’t matter, definitely, if you’ve got some years of experience or you’ve, may I say, virtually, never even done it prior. Snorkeling, like your Bonegi Beach, can become, perhaps, such a cool introduction, after all, to underwater scenery. A main attraction over there would be that some sunken ships exist not very far from Bonegi Beach. Over many years they’ve grown to become, very, artificial reefs with a large variety of different sea animals swimming about.

You may discover that you get taken out there in a boat. Usually, the tour company can get the equipment sorted out prior. That whole time spent floating just above shipwrecks gives you a surreal feeling. You’ll soon notice shoals, perhaps, all kinds of fish in a spectrum of colours, also plants growing everywhere around this metallic hulk underwater, often. 5. Mataniko Falls and Tenaru Falls Hike

Right then, in case that you’re someone just extremely drawn towards nature or enjoys walking, there’s hiking excursions going to Mataniko Falls, too, as well as Tenaru Falls.
