Basically, Levante Beach, very often identified by its proximity to the town center, comes with really simple entry for pretty much everyone, so you have very fast access to bars and cafes, honestly perfect for a quick snack or beverage. 2. Exploring the Villa of Tiberius and Archaeological Museum

Anyway, the Villa of Tiberius is almost a magnificent archeological destination, so this villa, that dates all the way back to the 1st century AD, was in fact the vacation spot of the Emperor Tiberius. Seemingly, today it provides you with a special look into the opulence of ancient Roman life. Like I was saying, you have something else other than sand, and honestly, that is to discover the wonderful remains of the villa. Also, you should take a stroll via the sprawling grounds that include the remnants of the Emperor’s home, fish ponds, and that impressive grotto that housed amazing sculptures.

Actually, after discovering the Villa, you can go and find the Archaeological Museum of Sperlonga, almost displaying several of the sculptures and artifacts located at the villa. You know, like pieces that give some insight into Roman art, culture and the life-style of the imperial elite, that’s how it is. I mean, to get much more familiar with Roman history in that way by literally seeing these pieces? I mean, that is some stuff. 3. Hiking in the Monti Aurunci Regional Park

Typically, just a little more far from Sperlonga, so that Monti Aurunci Regional Park delivers almost stunning landscapes and amazing trekking trails for that person trying to connect a bit more with mother nature. In some respects, the park has almost diverse landscapes, starting with rolling hills to limestone peaks and heavy forests, perfect for anyone trying to go a little crazy on the trekking lengths. Anyway, with a bunch of marked trails, almost any trekkers of varying levels of experience could find an outdoor escapade here.

In a way, if you find yourself walking one of the famous paths, there are great viewpoints. That is, of course, if you fancy a more picturesque vista. So, for some people, it gets more personal; actually, for me it did, especially the coastal views; they honestly create indelible experiences. Still, bird watchers and nature lovers too often come here and could watch a number of birds and flora. Clearly, bringing your camera along helps, that way you catch and document every moment spent in such beauty. 4. Exploring the Torre Truglia

Also, for centuries, the tower worked like a fortress for folks in town; right now, it stands as an indelible marker that you will recognize in town almost right away.

At the end of the day, that is because the tower had a renovation, which involved upgrading the interior so any visitors could chill a little longer on this historical spot. As a matter of fact, that is because it serves now almost as a display venue. 5. Discovering the Charm of Sperlonga’s Old Town
