Turkish Black Sea Coast

Okay, so you are maybe thinking of hitting the road along Turkey’s Black Sea Coast? Like your thinking is awesome, that stretch of coastline seriously offers some like really stunning landscapes and, too it’s almost, experiences that are absolutely worth exploring. That said, like deciding where to go can feel like, you know, kind of overwhelming with choices. Basically, after some travel and talking to folks who know their stuff, here is a review of five car tours. They really showcase the best of this region. Hopefully, you find one that fits. So let’s check this out!

1. The Trabzon and Rize Highlands Tour

Trabzon and Rize Highlands

Basically, if breathtaking scenery is just what you’re after, then Trabzon and Rize’s highlands will seriously blow your socks off. As a matter of fact, the usual starting spot is Trabzon, actually. Trabzon, which, you know, kind of boasts a rich history and has an airport, which makes it very accessible. The whole idea here is driving up to spots that like offer panoramic views. Such as, the Sumela Monastery which is quite perched precariously on a cliffside which kind of makes a real jaw-dropping thing to see.

You will absolutely cruise eastwards to Rize. And you will find your way, I mean, towards Ayder Plateau which has some like unreal natural beauty. Apparently, the drive up there has twisty roads which, in a way, go through very lush forests, past very, very small villages. Just that experience has this certain feel. Now, when you actually get to Ayder, you will be like gobsmacked by the views of those alpine meadows and, as a matter of fact, thermal springs that the area has.

There is hiking. So definitely bring appropriate footwear because exploring these landscapes on foot will surely give you some amazing views. Frankly, also visit the local tea plantations, that are kind of scattered all over. It is like a super interesting insight, in that case, into the tea-making which, as a matter of fact, has helped shape this region. You know?

Oh, in the same way, if you get a chance, consider trying muhlama, in that case. Like, that cheesy cornmeal dish that’s so traditional. It has just something you gotta experience to get it! Is that it is like very regional and very comforting after a, like your, hike in the mountains, really!

2. The Artvin Adventure: A Taste of Georgia

Artvin Adventure

Okay, so thinking about taking things westwards towards Artvin? Honestly, this trip kinda brings a very awesome, almost off-the-beaten-path experience. What I am getting at, you can look forwards to a border town thing with Georgia that blends these different cultural experiences.

Apparently, a very main attraction to note here is Karagöl-Sahara National Park which offers kind of seriously pristine lakes and, for instance, thick forests that invite exploration. The Karagöl Lake kind of makes you want to just sit and breathe, with its views and tranquil waters. I swear, taking like landscape pics while you’re here will make all of your friends jealous back home! Just saying.

But don’t only stick around Karagöl. Just consider taking a trip through the Caucasus Mountains where, actually, you might encounter like little traditional villages and old stone bridges, or maybe not, I don’t know!. Definitely consider the local food, that has flavors from both Georgia and Turkey because it will seriously change you, alright?

And that’s why you will not wanna rush through Artvin. You know? And it has this sort of very raw and wild feel that just makes you forget everything else and be in the now.

3. Exploring Giresun: History Meets Hazelnut Groves

Exploring Giresun

Honestly, Giresun may not grab attention that easily. I guess the focus on the scenery does, but that kinda thing offers its own style and a taste of history. Did you know it’s like totally famous for being a massive producer of hazelnuts? Anyway, if you take this tour, expect to like actually go through like pretty much countless hazelnut farms.

There’s Giresun Island which is apparently near the coast. Anyway, I believe it has quite many mythical stories that have to do with the Amazons. But what do I know? If you are trying to make a day of this, take a, like your, very quick boat tour over there. And so, go do a walking tour around, if you even want to. Still there are quite, maybe too many ancient ruins still standing. Anyway, people kinda feel there.

Also you know what, I tell you? Just consider visiting the Giresun Museum if museums are for you, you know. Because anyway that might actually get to your head with facts and dates. This area goes kind of way, way back.

Honestly, you’re able to learn the like little known fact this was a crucial port during Roman times.

Samsun and Amasya

Right so, in some respects if you wanna, like your, blend both a, like your, nice coast with something pretty far inland, seriously make time for Samsun and Amasya. Well anyway starting with Samsun it kind of goes off as just being another cool place on the sea with just nice things.

Anyway now like for sure move inland, alright. As a matter of fact Amasya comes next. Okay that city kind of brings things together in such a different very good kinda way. If I remember they have these homes there like totally set right into this rockface. Totally interesting, in fact!

Like what about a stroll in Hazeranlar Mansion? A building that is, you know, sort of nicely brought to its former state. It gives peeps a peek on just what those big homes from then kinda looked and felt like, actually. Honestly you can take like those picture postcard shots from it that really, very brings it to life, actually. But who knows! Is that what you wanna do? Whatever.

Honestly Amasya offers that very unusual, like unique combination that sets this whole, like thing, aside.

Sinop Turkey

Right, so just wanna visit like the, alright, spot up north? anyway check out Sinop then which has the honor for being like right up there in that part of Turkey. Well honestly maybe that means you like peace or the, you know, sort of a very quiet place. Anyway this makes this little jewel an actual treasure, right. Totally.

Now just because it’s like on its own that don’t kinda suggest things are missing. Anyway they kind of have spots. Also what about like trying Hamsilos Cove which, in a way, does look super. Very like a, is that, deep inlet right in to land that everybody calls Turkey’s single fjord.

Like anyway what else can you, you know, kind of experience out here. Right consider you visit Sinop Fortress. By the way if you walk over on those like bricky walls over there it kind of allows amazing views on those coast thingies. Is that awesome or is that, anyway, whatever?

If history gets you pumped in some kinda way make a visit that time to like, that, that, Sinop prison or whatever you call it. Back then this jail kept peeps in it and now it, very very allows you to actually glance back to, like times, that happened back then and to what, you know, right the inmates lives kinda meant back then. Yeah! Sinop might have some not super clear appeal for, you know, your loud things, this can certainly become like top points there for those on trips kinda giving back.
