Top 5 Unforgettable Day Trips From Itea, Greece

Itea Greece

Itea, Greece, it’s this kinda small, coastal town that almost sits pretty close to some super cool spots, making it, like, perfect for setting off on a day’s adventure. You know? I mean it is an adventure that gets you out and about? Very, it’s true that there is very much exploring all the history and all the, wow, that is, what can I call them? natural charm that this part of Greece very clearly just gives off, just that, like, a stone’s throw away? You know what I mean? It can make for really terrific memories. And frankly, some cracking pictures, too.

1. Delphi: The Navel of the Ancient World

Delphi Greece

OK, so Delphi, that’s very much a biggie because, you know, that used to be thought of as the Earth’s very, almost central point in ancient times, is that crazy or what? It really is this location loaded with, basically, ancient history and you do just kinda feel that the minute that, almost, you’re on location. Very it, still now, does sort of resonate down through all those passing years. A bit. That really is why it could be that you ought to go and see it with your own two eyes. It’s almost got it all really as well – all these breathtaking sights and remarkable stories that kind of, in a way, still hang in the air.

Very much do wander right through the actual ruins that is Delphi’s archeological site itself. I mean do see the Temple of Apollo; just maybe, I would suggest, pause for a sec by the Athenian Treasury to take in all the splendor of such historic spots; that I would absolutely say, very it does sort of scream ”photo opp”. The very nearby museum then exhibits even more of all the stuff found there and the things, basically, that were constructed so many, I guess, years back – many a year since. It is the Temple, so arguably the Temple of Apollo that actually did matter way, way, back, is that the very story of all those oracles and the rest, that could be, just maybe, interesting. Very, it makes your visit more vivid with this sort of ancient vibe which, frankly, you might really find engaging and rather cool, indeed.

2. Galaxidi: A Picturesque Coastal Town

Galaxidi Greece

And Galaxidi, I have to say, is this incredibly almost beautiful little spot along the coast, very it’s maybe roughly around half-an-hour from Itea, just a few of those kilometres to rack up there. You know? That does sort of bring you right, very much so, away from the crazy of city life, is that very much something that appeals? Well so, the thing I would say is that if it just so happens that you would be after something truly Greek but maybe kinda a touch quieter? Then, it seems pretty fair to say that is a real gem, and just so happens that is ideal just to stroll about in and actually take things rather steady. And arguably enjoy every second doing precisely that!

Take a walk around the harbor. Like just appreciate all these seriously beautiful buildings as you stroll by all these rather delightful sailboats – and very the colors! Seriously; some amazing views abound all around! Stop somewhere? Very maybe it could be for lunch? That perhaps somewhere is an utterly nice taverna by the water! Then taste very much of what is, I would suggest, some top-notch local fare and absolutely delightful Greek food; well the locals all love the grilled octopus. Just saying. By the way there is actually a Naval & Historical Museum where you may be very able to actually see some local history; something for just a slightly too rainy afternoon perhaps?

Arachova Greece

Alright well, moving up up very much from the coastline, that the thing is, Arachova happens to sit pretty close to Mount Parnassos and almost has got some super charming vibes going on! Very it’s pretty famous, almost even mostly thanks to there being that Mount Parnassos Ski Center – it’s just where it may just be that many, I do suspect, would possibly enjoy a bit of what can I call that? Downhill action? Very much does it offer even so an amazing experience all seasons too. Almost so maybe even with zero skis anywhere nearby?

Just wander those tiny little, what do I call those – those stone paths and see, wow, those totally very cute stores and I suppose maybe get something from a super charming crafts merchant. Possibly. Have, basically, a wander through those little squares and do just relax just to see Greek life go by just right in front of you; oh do sample those yummy Greek meals over in all the traditional cafes and you will just, very, absolutely like those super tasty handmade cheeses of theirs!

Make very damn sure, definitely, that you gaze up in utter and pure amazement as you gaze on all that intricate artistry. All those totally incredibly gorgeous mosaics – and those totally breathtaking, remarkable stone carvings; wow just imagine for now that those were originally painted almost a millennium gone. Very perhaps does a stop at the historic Monastery, more or less, mean taking at least one small breath there. Just breathing in the atmosphere in one really spiritual kinda place? Corinth Greece

OK that so, to sort of experience Greek ancient glory blended with more-or-less recent architectural things and constructions very perhaps just go way on over to the truly, kinda great destination area known as Corinth, so I would definitely urge just those after a very solid peek into antiquity and stuff maybe also wanna take a look also over that really famous Corinth Canal, what gives even all those techies an eyeful over just how well folk, back then, were almost able to literally create some brilliant stuff there, literally going through that natural rock-stuff there, using primitive rock breaking and moving techniques – a rather splendid ancient spot for that ancient architecture thing?

Have some kinda walk round right inside of all the archaeological sites of Corinth and, wow just marvel at just every stone there that seemingly is so utterly alive with the echoes there coming right off, wow, those classic ruins as, like, everything there just possibly brings something of ancient Greece right home with ya and do then make pretty absolutely freakin’ sure that very maybe you find a tiny spot just to soak things, arguably and totally soak everything, literally everything, in too – just like what actually went on at that spot aaaaages and aaaaaages back and even since then over and on to the recent Corinth Canal there.
