We can almost certainly discuss the Ring of Kerry all we like, but for those seeking less packed attractions with views that just don’t stop? And for drives, seemingly, filled with genuine attraction, there is the Ring of Beara.

Now, seemingly, this is going to become a long day trip, so perhaps plan that, by the way. Also just know: It does get super gorgeous. Very, very special!

Actually, this one is really about discovery. Pretty much, small towns and bays, coastal views, just like hidden away corners – you know, there’s loads of that kind of thing.

You are able to visit the Dzogchen Beara Buddhist Centre; it might be a tranquil little spot with those incredible views, huh? Of course, there is Dursey Island on the tip – which you get to via cable car (not your car on the cable car! Of course, you park, like your sense would naturally say) and hike a bit more.
