1. ZooMontana Admission Tickets

ZooMontana Tickets

Oh, ZooMontana! This place really could be more than just a normal zoo; yet it is the only zoo and botanical park in Montana! Pretty much the whole experience is unique as it specializes in animals and plants native to Montana and other similar cold-weather regions. Now, that’s quite clever, isn’t it? Tickets let you get super up close with grizzly bears, Siberian tigers, red pandas, and loads of other awesome critters. That alone will make you feel you got your money’s worth. Plus, the botanical gardens are quite attractive. Basically, for families, it’s usually an all-day kind of gig. Check their website for special events, like the Zoo Boo in October! 2. Yellowstone Art Museum (YAM) Passes

Yellowstone Art Museum

Is that right, you are into art, huh? The Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings could just be the largest art museum in the whole state, so you’ll enjoy that for sure! Yet it features contemporary and historical art from the region. Often, the exhibits focus mostly on Montana artists. Now and again that includes some pretty neat Indigenous works, so keep an eye out. Season passes are very handy for art buffs living nearby or folks planning on visiting more than just once that year. Anyway, YAM hosts workshops and lectures and various other events; those can provide really great opportunities to actually engage more deeply with the art. Don’t dismiss that idea. Check out what’s currently on, because some exhibitions can honestly surprise you! Read our full review: Yellowstone Art Museum Passes Full Review and Details. Alberta Bair Theater

When it’s a special experience you’re after, the Alberta Bair Theater just might be it. Very centrally located downtown, the theater is a classic performance venue. Pretty much always you’re going to find a full range of events, just anything from concerts to Broadway shows, dance performances, and a wide range of other neat stuff. Is that it they say? The best tickets will depend somewhat on what sort of experience you want to have, but the theater’s website actually offers great seating previews. So be on the lookout for it! 4. Pictograph Cave State Park Pass

Pictograph Cave State Park

Are we still on the topic of Montana? You probably know all about their parks, don’t you? Anyway, for an awesome mix of history plus outdoorsy goodness, well then consider Pictograph Cave State Park. It’s a very interesting spot just a few miles outside of Billings. Pictograph, Middle, and Ghost caves make the place, as is, a little special. This state park protects these caves where ancient pictographs, very neat rock paintings, are on display. What an oddity! Annual passes for Montana State Parks can offer some significant savings in case you are looking forward to touring other parts of the state. Just a bit: make certain that the caves will be open since closures can be in place sometimes because of weather conditions. 5. Moss Mansion Museum Tours

Moss Mansion Museum

Want to know more, are you thinking of taking a trip to what seems to be a grand historical residence? Try the Moss Mansion Museum, that is a grand sandstone mansion from the early 1900s! Seems alright. What is cool, that these tours lead you just all through the home. They share stories regarding the Moss family plus insights relating to what Billings was much like during that era. To me, the home looks marvelous! In my view, to get the whole story I always take guided tours since there are generally hidden gems that a self-guided wander might easily miss. Then, for the photo buffs around here, note that usually taking pictures is permitted, that really should make things easier to work around here. That could save time for a number of reasons.
