Top California Tours: Sightseeing & Cruises in CA

California Sightseeing

California, with its sunny shores, gigantic trees, plus iconic cities, just calls to be explored! Choosing where to begin, though, that really is kind of a bit much. I mean, finding trustworthy tours and awesome experiences is not always that easy. So, we’ve gathered the five tours that should give you those amazing memories. These range from chilling cruises to trips out in the wild. Plus, honestly, there’s something for anyone wanting a slice of what California’s got.

1. Golden Gate Bay Cruise, San Francisco

Golden Gate Bay Cruise

Sailing right on the water right next to the Golden Gate Bridge – that’s pretty amazing, very, very arguably the thing to do in San Francisco. I mean, imagine seeing that view; you’ve got the city skyline off to your left, then, almost a bit too close, you can feel the sea breeze – is that something? Usually, the cruises also tell all sorts of cool stories about Alcatraz, Angel Island, plus the whole waterfront history. Actually, for pictures, it is almost impossible to get anything better than a sunny day out on the bay.

What makes it awesome? Well, a couple things, naturally. Is it being right underneath that grand, quite nearly international symbol or getting to see seals chilling around Pier 39. More or less, these cruises really nail making you feel like you’re right in the middle of everything fun happening in San Francisco. 2. Whale Watching Tour, Southern California

Whale Watching Tour Southern California

Okay, let’s say you’re hoping to check out giant whales migrating. Then? That’s simple: a whale-watching tour off the Southern California coast that sounds right! So, really, at certain points in the year, you’re just about guaranteed to see gray whales making their way south to Baja California or, actually, blue whales feeding during summer. It’s hard to imagine how big these things actually are until you spot one in real life!

Now, you might want to think: Is there something special on these tours? Actually, they often come with marine biologists that might be able to fill your head with facts about what the creatures get up to every day. The boats usually head out from places, such as Long Beach or San Diego, and maybe run for a couple of hours. If seeing whales in their zone is more than tempting, in a way, this one is a great choice. See Prices, Availability & Reserve Now (Whale Watching Tour Southern California)

3. Yosemite National Park Day Tour

Yosemite National Park Day Tour

Let’s say we are talking landscapes here, it’s fair to say that Yosemite is always quite breathtaking. Arguably, seeing it all crammed into a single day is not easy. However, these Yosemite tours are there just a little bit for doing exactly that. A long, that is very long, day will get you there and back. What do you think of this? That means stopping off at all the big landmarks, too – El Capitan, Half Dome, maybe Yosemite Falls – alright.

The guide can probably tell interesting things about the place – alright – plus you see quite a fair bit, and, of course, you will get enough pictures. They typically are rather well-organized tours with transport, plus often they are really good at keeping the trips exciting! What’s more? They make getting a sample of the park a possibility, particularly when it’s time. Read our full review: Yosemite National Park Day Tour Full Review and Details

4. Hollywood and Celebrity Homes Tour, Los Angeles

Hollywood and Celebrity Homes Tour

Hollywood is something! When you are checking out that region, seeing the houses of film stars must be cool? Anyhow, a bunch of tours hang around Tinseltown, which might be able to sneak you right up near some super pricey houses where all sorts of people live. I’d guess you get a sense for the glamour, as a matter of fact, so much wealth.

In a way, seeing these houses tells an extremely interesting story. It’s quite impressive! That’s clear, if you’re one for that type of tour. Anyway, some tours drive right along Hollywood Boulevard, so too you catch the Walk of Fame and maybe get stories behind Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, usually called TCL now, that is just something. A definite stop maybe if movie trivia interests you! See Prices, Availability & Reserve Now (Hollywood and Celebrity Homes Tour)

5. Napa Valley Wine Train, Napa

Napa Valley Wine Train

Fancy touring around wine country just a bit differently? That’s actually a good call: The Napa Valley Wine Train makes it very fun. It must be riding in classic, fancy trains, usually through those lovely Napa vineyards. You sip a little, munch on great food, and see the landscape drifting. Basically, you could easily do this sort of classy relax day solo, although groups might suit this thing just fine.

Do you know what I reckon? Probably, there’ll be fancy folks and those with big wallets, anyway all there to eat that amazing cuisine onboard. You could expect a very pricey but wonderful day! Obviously, that sounds about as unwinding as possible. Plus, they probably show around many vineyards if you ask. Read our full review: Napa Valley Wine Train Full Review and Details
