The Ocean Safari tour from Cape Tribulation could be perfect if you are, sort of, itching to get out on the water. That means they take you out on a fast boat, and you zoom out to the Great Barrier Reef for some snorkeling. Ocean Safari is based right in Cape Tribulation; so accessing it is, obviously, fairly easy if you are staying nearby. A Daintree River cruise is just, very much, what it sounds like – like a boat trip down the Daintree River. And it’s, easily, one of the best ways to spot wildlife. Many of the cruises are, specifically, designed to look for crocodiles. The guides really know their stuff, and they will use their skills to find crocs, which are really hard to spot, often sunning themselves on the banks or chilling in the water. Looking for a, possibly, unique way to see the rainforest? Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours is probably pretty amazing, giving you, basically, a zipline adventure right through the trees. What is it? 5. Cape Tribulation Night Walk

Want to, perhaps, see what goes bump in the night in the Daintree? Think about Cape Tribulation Night Walks; they bring out a completely different cast of characters compared to, like, what you see during the day. They start when it gets dark, as you might have thought, with knowledgeable guides to lead the way, since, you know, the forest gets pretty tricky at night.

On a night walk, typically, you’ll be looking for nocturnal animals. A good guide knows their stuff and, often, can spot animals that are totally invisible to the untrained eye.
