Grumari Beach Rio de Janeiro

Grumari, which is this stunning, protected beach way out west in Rio de Janeiro, it’s almost a little slice of paradise that a lot of people who come to visit don’t actually get to. I mean, it is easy enough to reach, I suppose, yet so many stick to the main beaches, like Copacabana and Ipanema. However, if you ask me, taking the time to explore Grumari, with its wonderfully wild landscape, it’s often so worth it. To actually make the most of your trip, looking into tickets and passes beforehand is, like, a pretty good shout. After doing a little bit of digging around, I’ve put together, kinda like, a guide to the top 5 options, you see. So, really, you can pick one that fits just right.

1. Grumari Beach Day Trip with Rio Eco Trip

Rio Eco Trip Grumari

The Rio Eco Trip’s Grumari Beach Day Trip is, arguably, pretty amazing if you fancy getting picked up and taken straight there. Basically, as I understand it, they handle all the transportation, often in cozy, air-conditioned vehicles, very nice, too it’s almost a stress-free day at the beach. Now, this is typically a full-day thing, often lasting around 6 to 8 hours, which tends to give you enough time to chill on the sand, that is, swim in the sea, and really soak up the atmosphere, in a way. Lunch may not actually be included, more or less, you’re looking at spending some money on food and drinks while you’re there. Basically, it is, probably, best to check the specifics on their website to get all the tiny, little details right. A small group size is usually a common benefit of this kind of tour, right, so you don’t feel herded around, kind of like, which is pretty awesome. Anyway, the guides often share interesting facts about the area’s ecology and history too, actually.

Grumari and Prainha Beaches

This tour often takes you to not just Grumari but, like, Prainha, too. That’s if you’re trying to catch a wave! Normally, transport’s included, with pickup from some of the main hotels, but do double-check where to be certain. It is always so worth it! Often, the tours are guided by local people who know the area really very well, giving you a real feel for the place, right.
