2. Bellapais Monastery and Village Exploration

From here you could visit Bellapais, that’s an essential trip when you are just around Kyrenia. That monastery sits higher than just about everything else, so too it gives you really cool view opportunities. Just strolling through the village gives that, sort of, like older vibe that many old town Europe areas used to show. In the end though, you will find locally-owned cafes where you may find yourself enjoying, honestly, a refreshing coffee! Or some other traditional pastry. I found myself spending an afternoon seeing the area on a Vespa (because driving it is always so much more interesting than taking a bus)! I ran into an old guy too it’s like he came right out from another time. He gave me an insane perspective about the area and made me love Bellapais much more. Plus I saw the coast driving from above. Honestly its like the movies.

3. St. Hilarion Castle Panoramic Drive

Looking to do something fun? Then just go towards St. Hilarion Castle for the ultimate driving trip that shows lots and lots of scenery! That place used to guard from so far away. Way, way high up among the hills. The route may, in a way, be curvy a bit, anyway but the views are so worth it. That whole mountain and then, obviously, the water you see after just bring a new perspective. Get outside there for, say, at least two hours just to absorb all of it from up there. If you enjoy stories, as I was saying, there, some bits about royals in old times. Basically if you have an imagination? It’s the perfect place to use it and make that day extra good! This drive mixes a little something about exploring history with unreal beauty. A camera is needed!

4. Alagadi Turtle Beach and Northern Coast Road

Think, that is that you are getting out driving near the coast. That would be just such a nice day thing! Seriously, that northern shoreline by Alagadi Turtle Beach provides views which are, arguably, incredible, while it allows you to enjoy just chill vibes. Also, this area allows anyone to watch sea turtles actually chilling, as I was saying, near the coast. The waters feel smooth, the coastline shows views which will stay in your memory for way more time. If you’re looking for that serene driving thing combined with just that touch of getting in touch with natural spaces, that spot could be the one. Make some time to just lay a towel in one of the most serene zones of Cyprus to absorb nature at its finest, I feel like anyone looking to unwind would enjoy this.

5. Karpaz Peninsula Day Trip from Kyrenia

What’s that? Is the vibe that it’s go big, so too you might take on a longer drive towards the Karpaz area. Basically, this trip takes a while from Kyrenia!
