Versailles Restaurant: Little Havana’s Cornerstone
First up, alright, Versailles Restaurant in Little Havana is a pretty essential stop. It almost feels like you’ve teleported to Havana when you step through those doors, you see? As a matter of fact, you’re immediately smacked in the face, gently though, with the aromas of ropa vieja, that shredded beef, you understand, and the incredibly addictive crispy plantain chips known as mariquitas.

Alright, that toasty bread, just a little bit, and the layers of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, just layered on top of each other, just perfection and so well pressed together that they almost fuse, alright? If you were looking to wash it down? In fact, why not, try a cafe con leche, that is almost as famous as the place itself. Listen, this isn’t really just food, alright?
