So, if seeing a specific spot is your idea, or trying a very local type of food, this might be the company for you. Actually, guests like it because of how flexible and well prepared the staff are. What really sets them apart? I guess, is that they really try to dial the entire experience in. Rather, it feels much more like visiting the island with some family friends that live there. Clearly, from secluded beaches to hiking destinations that are not crowded at all, they will try to accommodate what makes you excited about St. John.

Things people really like: Guests mostly praise the tour guides because they really knew their stuff and also tried to tailor everything around them. So, imagine not having to travel with a ton of other people and doing whatever *they* want, and then imagine that the person guiding you knows so much, it’s a great combination. Also, a bit, the freedom of where to visit, how long you will stay at some beach, etc. All very, very nice.

Is that it’s hard to match what a private boat, right, gives for you versus, a car tour? In a way, the ocean breeze can really set your soul free. Therefore, Salty Dog focuses on sailing trips around St. John, snorkeling included, and gives amazing underwater adventures. Why is this tour good? The reason so many go with Salty Dog seems, often, to be that the crew aren’t just workers, they’re more like ocean ambassadors of some kind. Right, in a way, it all feels like an experience, since there will be spots they know where you will get the chance to see sea life close by. As I was saying, there is always chances for seeing turtles to some reefs bursting with underwater activity. Actually, you do not even need to know much about any of that stuff.

Positives? The small group of people traveling together seems to also improve everything. Typically, it really adds to how personal all experiences get. Rather, this is mostly because the staff loves what they do and how they will change up what you do in the day to whatever goes on, on that very same day – I mean, imagine getting in a boat and they decide to sail you, just you and whoever came along, exactly to that spot, in the ocean, where sea turtles decided to go feed in that moment! Could be something to think about.

Best of the bunch: As a matter of fact, some folks loved them because their timing. It’s almost like, showing up right when asked, ready to drive guests wherever they want. I mean, sounds simple enough. Usually, the option to tweak tours is great because you are never sure if someone wants a few drinks or might feel a bit sick.

Something good? Clearly, the convenience to schedule is great since there isn’t a need to wait or hope for random taxis that might overcharge or have an attitude. Seems like very safe transportation, which is obviously quite important, and it also seems, often, a great local experience.

Best aspects: Punctuality, obviously. That they drive safely, feels so calming, no? You know, because folks say it a whole bunch!

Great aspects? Friendly attitude drivers bring so very nicely makes anything nicer. It really helps make you feel like home! As I was saying, any cool, that there any, and pretty sights that will get seen add just a hint more charm.
