2. A Day at Lögarängen Beach

If your ideal activity usually ends up near the water, then, in a way, Lögarängen Beach is where it’s at, being a place you could find a stretch of fine sand and crystal water, for you. It’s so inviting, especially during those hot months. Do you need to kick back with some friends, get involved in beach sports, or perhaps just soak up some sunshine? So then, this spot seems right. 3. Paddling Adventures on Lake Mälaren

How do you want to actually feel the aquatic environment on the lake, instead of just lying there? You probably just go book an kayaking or canoeing adventure! I bet that is on your mind! More or less, this gives the chance to explore Lake Mälaren by boat, going right through many very quiet bays and getting a unique sight on the location from a different viewpoint, you could argue. 4. Hiking and Nature Walks in Erikslunds naturreservat

Okay, so if walking on a path to get fresh air is something you’d really go to Västerås for, then possibly the Erikslunds naturreservat area will just knock your socks off with natural environment that isn’t the same old nature scenes from home. Here we get preserved landscapes that are home to some animals. Is that just what the soul ordered? I’d bet. Those long or very, very shorter guided hikes on trails go through lush forest and bring some opportunities to look into Scandinavian animals in their environment! Maybe your camera gets some use this time.

Getting a moment to stroll through Erikslunds Naturreservat probably makes that crisp forest smell full of damp earth and old foliage. And in between that little splash of a hidden stream. Now with some sunlight peeking past all of those tree leaves it’s really magic!

5. Anundshög: Exploring Viking History

Do you really enjoy culture? Or is ancient stuff just quite interesting? Anundshög has this amazing compilation of Viking legends just waiting for you if the answer is yes! The archaeological setting has Sweden’s very largest burial mound; Anundshög, and will act quite nicely with ancient meeting things. Oh yeah. In fact, just imagine being in these grounds, knowing they were actually the places Vikings decided everything and made rituals. Actually what’s cool is getting to have an informal walking guided tour to become familiar with how life was a very long time back. By the way! Anundshög often stands as a reminder on how long that heritage runs through this place with natural spots with chances for understanding!
