Instead, venture over to see the Manneken Pis, a slightly amusing little statue that symbolizes the city’s quirky character. Plus, a visit just isn’t complete, you know, without sampling some world-class chocolates. Or maybe just enjoy crispy frites at a local shop; trust us, they are the real deal.

Or if you prefer to chill, anyway wander along the Dijle River; it features serene views and little bridges.

The Great Beguinage in Leuven actually used to be a home for lay religious women. You’d agree it’s recognized by UNESCO. I mean, you explore its tranquil courtyards and find yourself in a peaceful little corner. Leuven has some brilliant mix of culture and relaxation that might well impress you.

3. Antwerp: Fashion and Diamonds

4. Ghent: Medieval Marvel

5. Mechelen: A Hidden Gem

Did you know St. Rumbold’s Cathedral offers a challenging climb, a nice view, and the structure has all these historical parts which make an interesting climb? To me, strolling along Dijlepath proves peaceful, because you get a peek at hidden spots which could, just, enhance some perspective in what’s enjoyable in travel. Instead, make your travel dreams vivid. By the way, be ready to absorb the distinct character that this place seems to provide travelers!
